Bio-degradable Materials

In our quest for environmental protection and our commitment to returning to nature, we’ve embraced bio-degradable materials as a cornerstone of our product lineup. These materials, including PLA (Polylactic Acid), PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate), Eco-Paper, and Cellophane, represent the pinnacle of pollution-free packaging solutions. By breaking down into natural elements under compostable conditions, they leave no harmful residues, ensuring that our products not only serve their purpose but also contribute positively to the environment.

PLA is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane, making it an excellent alternative to conventional plastics. PBAT adds flexibility and durability, often used in combination with PLA to enhance the material’s properties. Eco-Paper and Cellophane are sourced from sustainable forestry, offering both breathability and compostability, making them ideal for a wide range of packaging needs.

The Benefits of Bio-degradable Packaging Solutions

Environmental Impact

Reduced Carbon Footprint: Bio-degradable packaging is made from renewable resources, complies with ISO 14855, significantly lowering the carbon footprint compared to traditional plastic packaging.

Minimizes Pollution: It breaks down into natural elements within a short period, reducing pollution and harm to wildlife.

Conservation of Resources: Manufacturing processes for bio-degradable packaging typically consume less energy and water.

Compliance and Waste Management

Easier Waste Management: Bio-degradable packaging can be composted, reducing the burden on landfill sites and facilitating a circular economy.

Regulatory Compliance: With increasing regulations on plastic use, transitioning to bio-degradable options helps companies stay ahead of legal requirements.

Combination

PLA-Coated Kraft Paper:
This combination is often used in food service products, such as disposable plates, cups, and bowls, providing the strength and durability of Kraft paper with the moisture barrier properties of PLA.

PBAT/PLA Blends:
These blends are used to create films and bags that require both flexibility and strength. The PBAT adds flexibility and toughness to the PLA, making it suitable for applications like compostable waste bags and packaging films.

Cellophane and Kraft Paper Laminates:
This combination offers the strength of Kraft paper with the barrier properties of cellophane, ideal for packaging dry goods such as tea, coffee, and spices that benefit from a moisture barrier.

PLA and Cellulose Composites:
These are used for transparent packaging applications that require a high barrier to oxygen and CO2. Such composites are often found in packaging for perishable foods, extending shelf life while being environmentally friendly.
